About the Class

Welcome to Yin Yoga to enjoy as regular and newly joining. This course is well-suited also, to tender low backs and stiff hips. This Course of six (6) classes is an opportunity to explore how you can benefit from Yin Yoga over a period of time, progressively recharging energy, inviting deep relaxation and bringing more mobility to your body and calming the mind. Yin yoga in particular, focuses on long relaxed passive stretches aided by body weight/ the ground, lying mostly, some seated, using props you have at home (rolled up blankets, cushions blocks), to open / release deeper layers of tension and holding in your connective tissue (fascia / bindvev), as well as balancing our meridian lines, which relate to our organs, which in turn, relate to our mood. Each week you will be deepening your knowledge on how you can positively impact the well-being of your liver, kidneys, stomach, lung and heart organs via - the release and balancing of meridian lines, as well as muscle and fascia. Tight muscles and feeling stiff ARE a great place to start. Yin Yoga can be suitable for injury recovery and healing processes alongside regular body-love and balancing active sports. Yoga is an individual journey and you will benefit in any shape, form and mind-set. Simply put, Yin Yoga a great way to relax, release and let go - and harmonises your entire being. You will be totally fine and comfortable as beginner and practicing.
