About the Class

Theme: Organic “The secret of good health and long life, gifts that you can practice and master in the art of Chi Nei Tsang.” 🌱 Organs can relax the same way a body can. Did you know? And when they do, a whole lot of things improve—digestion smoothens, heart rate slows down, lungs take oxygen in nicely, kidney and liver detox very well. The mind becomes clear, our mood swings up. A warm welcome to relax deeply via yoga, breath moves, meditation, and self-massage techniques inspired by Chi Nei Tsang, an Asian vital organ massage method aiding to remove stagnation, detoxify organs, and balance emotions. Each week we'll playfully move through our entire body as well as particular organs taking centre stage to be cleansed, ignited and released. (No applause needed, we're after internal balance, a harmonious unique heart-opening flow and enjoying deep relaxation). Organs addressed are: the heart, lungs, liver, stomach, kidneys, and urinary bladder. Combining asana (poses), breath in movement and stillness, specific touch, as well as 'Inner Smile' and 'Microcosmic Orbit' meditations by Mantak Chia, we'll awaken and activate our vital life force, release stress and dis-ease, to be gliding into a deeply restful space. It's a relaxedly active class with plenty of space for deep relaxation and rest. Be welcomed as you are, with aches and pain, fit and unfit. Yoga will nourish you right were you are.
